Kristin Chenoweth, a Tony winner this year for her role as Sally in “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown,” has inked a talent holding deal with Paramount Network TV.

Chenoweth is set to star in a comedy pilot being developed at Par by writer-producer John Markus, who most recently exec produced the NBC comedy “Lateline” for the studio. Markus wouldn’t divulge details of the project, which has yet to be shopped to the webs, but said the show would be tailored around Chenoweth.

“She’s the kind of talent that comes along once in a blue moon,” said Markus, who cast Chenoweth in a guest shot last year on “Lateline.” “She really crafts her roles well and has a nice sense of comedy about her.”

While the pilot is percolating, Chenoweth stars in the Jerry Zaks-helmed Broadway play “Epic Proportions,” which opens Thursday. She recently wrapped production on the ABC telepic “Annie.”

The Oklahoma native’s other Broadway credits include “Steel Pier,” “Strike up the Band” and “Scapin,” among other Off Broadway and touring shows.
