“Titanic” continued its winning ways Sunday, capturing the award for best movie of 1998 at the 25th annual People’s Choice Awards ceremony.

Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock were selected as favorite film stars, while Tim Allen of “Home Improvement” and Helen Hunt of “Mad About You” won in the television categories.

TV shows “ER” and “L.A. Doctors” were honored along with singers Garth Brooks and Celine Dion.

Three special “all-time favorite” awards were given to Harrison Ford (movies), Bill Cosby (TV) and Elton John (music).
