Goldie Arthur, widow of film producer Robert Arthur and who served as executive secretary to Irving Thalberg and Samuel Goldwyn, died Dec. 24 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. following a stroke. She was 92.

She was executive secretary to Thalberg at MGM when she married Arthur and she served as exec secretary to Goldwyn during World War II.

The Arthurs were married for 47 years. Robert Arthur died in 1986. His 50-plus films included “Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein” (1948), “That Touch of Mink” (1962) and “Sweet Charity” (1969).

Goldie Arthur is survived by a brother, Orv Appleby, as well as several nieces and nephews. There was no funeral at her request.
