Adam Sandler has been tapped veep of communications and director of special projects for the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, effective immediately.
Sandler, who was most recently music editor for Daily Variety and Variety, will oversee all aspects of corporate communications — creating and implementing PR strategies, as well as expanding the Academy’s online presence.
In the special projects arena, Sandler will create and maintain strategic alliances between NARAS and outside businesses.
