Oscar-winning actress Marisa Tomei (“My Cousin Vinny”) has signed with United Talent Agency. Tomei — whose recent credits include “The Slums of Beverly Hills,” “Unhook the Stars” and “Welcome to Sarajevo” — has been without agency representations since leaving CAA in January.

The actress is managed by Artists Management Group.

Writer-director Katt Shea, who most recently directed “The Rage: Carrie 2” for United Artists, has signed with Writers & Artists Agency, where she will be repped by Jim Stein and Larry Kennar.

Shea’s other credits include the indies “Stripped to Kill,” “Dance of the Damned” and “Poison Ivy.”

Television writer-director-producer Frank South, who served as exec-producer on “Melrose Place” and “Hyperion Bay,” has signed with the William Morris Agency.

WMA also recently signed director Stephen Gyllenhaal, whose credits include the features “Waterland” and “Losing Isaiah,” and the CBS telepic “A Killing in a Small Town.”

Tyro thesp Colin Hanks, son of Tom Hanks, has signed with Creative Artists Agency. Hanks currently is lensing “I’ll Be You” for Phoenix Pictures. He also will be a series regular on the new Fox-produced series “Roswell,” to air on the WB Network.

Producers Katherine Green (ABC’s “The Drew Carey Show”) and Roger Schulman (Fox’s “Living Single”) also recently inked with Paradigm.
