Christina George

Christina George, who most recently served as director of international promotions for Universal Pictures Consumer Products, died Nov. 4 of undisclosed causes at her home in Studio City. She was 37.

A graduate of the U of Missouri, she began her career at the Los Angeles offices of Grey Advertising with a client roster that included Warner Bros.

George joined Warner Bros. in the mid 1990s and moved up to the position of director of international theatrical promotions. In 1997 she moved over to Universal Pictures and her most recent post.

She is survived by her parents, Bernard and Patricia George of West Hills.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
