NEW YORK — Veteran USA Networks exec Tim Brooks announced Monday that he will exit the company to pursue other interests.
As senior VP, research, for USA Networks, Brooks currently supervises all research projects for USA Network and Sci-Fi Channel. He plans to remain at the company for a transition period.
“Television is an exciting business, and I’ve enjoyed immensely the opportunity to contribute, in a modest way, to USA’s growth over the last nine years. It’s time for new challenges, and I look forward to them as well,” said Brooks in a statement.

Brooks joined USA Networks in 1991 as VP, research, and was promoted to senior VP in 1994. While at USA, Brooks was involved with the launch of the Sci-Fi Channel in 1992 and with USA’s Latin American and European cable networks in 1994 and 1995.
