U Studios recruits Skeoch

Exec named sr. VP of marketing

Don Skeoch has been tapped senior VP of marketing for Universal Studios, Hollywood.

Skeoch will be responsible for overall marketing strategy including advertising, brand development, public relations, promotion and TV production. He will report to Bob Brisco, prexy and chief operating officer of Universal Studios, Hollywood, and Elayne Garofolo, exec VP of marketing, Universal Studios Recreation Group.

Previously, Skeoch was senior VP of international marketing and retail concepts at Allied-Domecq, where he worked in marketing Baskin Robbins, Dunkin’ Donuts and Togos outlets in 60 countries.
