ShadowCatcher Entertainment, producer of last year’s arthouse hit “Smoke Signals,” has tapped Kathy Kozu director of marketing, Pauline Tamblyn as director of finance and upped Michael Lewis to director of development.

Kozu will manage the company’s day-to-day operations and oversee all publicity and advertising. She’ll report to ShadowCatcher chief operating officer Gregory Mollner.

Most recently, Kozu worked for the Washington state lottery system, directing its ad campaigns. She also has served as director of advertising and promotion at Paramount Television.

New offerings

In his new post, Lewis will track new talent and material submissions, and will remain involved with story development. He’ll report to ShadowCatcher development VP Roger Baerwolf.

Lewis developed ShadowCatcher’s second release, “Getting to Know You,” starring Bebe Neuwirth, and the company’s upcoming third effort, “The Book of Stars.”

Tamblyn will be in charge of all of ShadowCatcher’s financial activities, reporting to Mollner.

Previously, Tamblyn was a consultant for indie film companies. She also has been an account manager for Interscope Communications.
