Park lands in Hallway as prod’n VP

Exec to o'see development at WB shingle

Wendy Park has been named VP of production for Paul Hall’s WB shingle Hallway Pictures.

Park will be overseeing all development for the 3-month-old outfit, including recently acquired project “The Bomb,” currently being scripted by Adam Glass.

Good eye helps

“Wendy has a novel approach to development and a great eye for detail,” Hall said. “I am confident she will be able to help guide the company in the right direction.”

Previously, Park worked for Jerry Bruckheimer Prods. and New Regency as a story analyst. In the latter position, she also served as story consultant to helmer Roland Joffe on “Goodbye, Lover” and his upcoming Tom Stoppard-penned “Vatel,” starring Gerard Depardieu and Uma Thurman.

Creative at Cinergi

Park also did creative stints for Cinergi Pictures on “The Scarlet Letter” and “Die Hard With a Vengeance.”

Hall is exec producing the Paramount “Shaft” remake with Scott Rudin, which John Singleton is shooting in Gotham. The pic stars Samuel L. Jackson and Vanessa L. Williams.
