“Rugrats” production company Klasky Csupo has upped Eryk Casemiro to senior veep of creative affairs and Dan Puglisi to VP of TV.
In his new post, Casemiro will scope out new projects and talent, and will stay on as co-exec producer of new Nickelodeon animated series “Rocket Power.” He will also remain as co-producer of the upcoming “Rugrats” film sequel, “Rugrats in Paris — The Movie” for Nick Movies and Paramount.
During his three-year stint at Klasky Csupo, Casemiro developed the Nick series “The Wild Thornberrys” and nabbed a 1997 Emmy nom for the “Rugrats” Mother’s Day special.
‘Wayne’ & ‘Kids’
Previous production stints for Casemiro include working for Lorne Michael’s Broadway Video, where he produced Paramount’s “Wayne’s World” and served as a production exec on sketch show “The Kids in the Hall.”
Puglisi, in his new role, will be on the look out for up-and-coming writers and fresh material, and will continue developing “Rugrats in Paris.” He first teamed with Klasky Csupo in 1998 as director of development, setting up film and TV projects at cablers Nick and Showtime.
Previously, Puglisi worked at the Zucker Brothers production company, and was involved with pics “Naked Gun 2-1/2,” “My Life,” “A Walk in the Clouds” and “First Knight.”
