Former DreamWorks Interactive marketing exec Jeff Nuzzi has joined Fox Interactive as director of retail marketing, a newly created post.

Nuzzi will be responsible for development of Fox Interactive’s marketing and promotional efforts for its PC and PlayStation console gaming titles and other retail product.

He will report directly to Dave Rech, veep of sales for Fox Interactive.

“Jeff brings an extensive background in product marketing and will be a tremendous asset as we continue to grow the Fox Interactive brand at retail,” Rech said. “We look forward to benefiting from his creativity and experience as he helps us chart our strategic development.”

Nuzzi was director of marketing at DreamWorks Interactive, where he oversaw the strategic marketing efforts for numerous PlayStation vidgames including “The Lost World: Jurassic Park,” “Small Soldiers,” “Goosebumps” and “Dilbert’s Desktop Games.”

He also developed national promotional campaigns with Burger King, Kodak, General Mills and Taco Bell.

Before that, he was manager of marketing services for Disney Interactive, where he helped launch gaming titles for “The Lion King,” “Aladdin,” “Winnie the Pooh” and “Toy Story.”

Fox Interactive develops vidgames based on Fox franchises, as well as new and original properties. Its most recent titles include “Croc2,” “Aliens vs. Predator,” “The X-Files,” “Die Hard Trilogy,” “The Simpsons Virtual Springfield” and titles from Fox Sports.
