Julie Hutchinson and Christian Kaplan have been upped to VPs of feature casting at 20th Century Fox.

Hutchinson and Kaplan will build on their body of work as directors of the division. Hutchinson is currently casting “Navy Diver” and Kaplan is at work on “Squelch.”

Hutchinson first teamed with the company in 1995, and has since supervised casting for “X-Men,” “Entrapment,” “Never Been Kissed,” “Anna and the King,” “Dr. Dolittle,” “Anywhere But Here” and “Here on Earth.” Prior to Fox, Hutchinson was director of casting at CBS.

Kaplan joined Fox in 1994, and his casting credits include “Monkeybone,” “Light It Up,” “Drive Me Crazy,” “How Stella Got Her Groove Back,” “Ever After,” “A Life Less Ordinary,” “The Edge,” “Broken Arrow” and “The Crucible.”

“Having worked with Julie for 10 years and with Christian for five years, I can say they are two of the most talented casting executives in the business,” said Fox senior VP of feature casting Donna Isaacson.
