Internet network On2.com has tapped Douglas Song VP of corporate development.
Song will develop On2.com’s financial and corporate strategies, staying on the look-out for possible merger and acquisition opportunities.
Most recently, Song was a managing director at BlueStone Capital Partners, handling public offerings and merger and acquisition transactions.

Jeremy Schuster has been tapped chief operating officer of Entertainment Internet, the creator of online casting service CastNet.com.
In his new post, Schuster will develop new business strategies and partnerships to increase CastNet’s use among casting execs and directors. Shuster assumes the duties of former Entertainment Internet co-chairs Paul Kessler and Thom Mount, who ankled their posts to pursue other endeavors in July.
Schuster will continue his work as a state and federal litigation attorney. Previously, he served as production counsel for indie film companies.

Dominique McAree has been promoted to veepee of west coast ad sales for News America Digital Publishing’s three On-line sites; Fox Sports, Fox News and Fox marketwire.
McAree brings 11 years of sales management experience to his new post where he will be in charge of acquiring digital sales for the company’s newest venture, broadband.
Prior to joining NADP, he held the post of Southern California ad manager for Men’s Journal.

Nick Verbitsky has been tapped as director of entertainment marketing for TMPG. In his new post, Verbitsky will be responsible for the development of all integrated marketing strategies, and the promotion activity for new and existing clients.
Previously, Verbitsky was senior account manager at WQHT-FM in NY.
