NEW YORK Time Warner’s lifestyle magazine Real Simple is ramping up for its April launch by hiring three senior staff members: Carol Kramer will serve as exec editor, while Barbara Jones and Michele Fleischer will be features editor and assistant managing editor, respectively.
A former Martha Stewart Living exec editor and editor in chief of Disney’s Family.com, Kramer will be the No. 2 to managing editor Susan Wyland.
In synch with InStyle
From the People magazine group, Real Simple will be a companion lifestyle monthly to Time Warner’s massively successful InStyle.
Jones comes to Real from Harper’s, where she spent two years as a senior editor. She previously served as a senior editor at Vogue and associate editor at Grand Street.
Fleischer is an eight-year vet of Glamour, rising from assistant managing editor to deputy managing editor.
