Jeanie Bradley has been upped to exec VP of programming for Columbia TriStar TV, where she oversees the studio’s slate of primetime comedy and drama skeins.
Bradley has been with Col TriStar and its predecessor companies for more than a decade. She most recently served as senior veep, shepherding the ongoing production of such series as “Mad About You,” “The Nanny,” “Party of Five,” “Dawson’s Creek” and “Dilbert,” among others.
Bradley reports to Helene Michaels, Col TriStar’s prexy of network production.
“Jeanie’s incredible relationships with talent, agencies and networks have established her as the company’s most treasured executive,” enthused Michaels, who also praised Bradley’s “creativity and affinity for all forms of programming.”
During her early years at Columbia Pictures TV, Bradley was involved with such sitcom hits as “Married … with Children,” “Designing Women,” “The Facts of Life” and “Who’s the Boss.”
Bradley’s promotion to the exec VP ranks comes as Col TriStar TV is reshaping its executive team in the wake of the departure of former prexy Eric Tannenbaum and a handful of other Col TriStar execs to launch Artists Television Group.
Michaels was upped to production prexy in June, while Sarah Timberman was promoted to exec VP of series development earlier this month. The studio is expected to announce another half-dozen hires in the area of current programming and development over the next few weeks.
