Reflecting the growing importance of foreign territories to Columbia TriStar Home Video, the studio division has upped Adrian Alperovich to senior veep, Asia/Pacific and Latin America.
Alperovich was veep of business development.
In his new post, he will oversee all sales activities for CTHV’s operations in Asia, the Pacific and Latin American regions.
He will continue to report directly to Benjamin S. Feingold, prexy of CTHV, and work closely with managing directors of CTHV’s subsids in Mexico, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, Korea and Japan, as well as more than 20 licensees to create strategies in those regions.
“Besides being a key strategist in the very successful worldwide launch of DVD, Adrian has also been instrumental in managing and developing CTHV’s businesses in the difficult operating environments of Asia and Latin America,” Feingold said. “His business skills will be important assets as the company grows to meet the changing technological business conditions of the new millennium.”
Alperovich joined CTHV in 1992 as manager of international marketing. Before that, he was a corporate banking officer for First Chicago.
