Kathryn “Kitty” Cohen has ankled her position of VP and G.M. of Fox Sports West and Fox Sports West 2 to pursue other endeavors. She had been with the networks more than a decade.
Cohen had held the position of G.M. for the L.A.-based networks for the past five years and was upped to VP last year. She joined the company in 1988 as the regional network’s finance controller and later became VP of finance and chief financial officer.
‘Time to move on’
“After 12 years at the network, I feel I have accomplished what I could, and it is time to move on to other opportunities,” the outgoing executive said. “My experience in this business for all these years has enriched my life, and I will miss the strong relationships with the local teams and my wonderful staff.”
During her term at the cablers, Cohen directed the growth of Fox Sports West to more than 5 million subscribers and successfully launched sister net Fox Sports West 2, which has more than 3 million subscribers.
Fox executives have set no timetable on naming a replacement for Cohen.
