HOLLYWOOD — Ten Thirteen Prods. has named Mary Astadourian VP, a newly created post at the Chris Carter-run TV, film and multimedia production company.
Astadourian will help develop all Ten Thirteen feature film and TV projects and supervise the 20th Century Fox Television-based company’s publishing, homevid, syndication, consumer product licensing and Internet operations.
“This promotion recognizes Mary’s accomplishments, and we look forward to her continuing to play a key role in the growth and success of the company,” said Carter and Ten Thirteen prexy Frank Spotnitz in a joint statement.
First teaming with the company in 1995, Astadourian most recently managed the worldwide licensing of TV brands “The X-Files” and “Millennium.” She also served as associate producer on “X-Files” film and has overseen the publication of more than 40 “X-Files” and “Millennium”-themed books.
Prior to Ten Thirteen, Astadourian worked as business manager at Rolling Stone magazine.
