Justin Albert has been tapped as prexy of Mandalay Media Arts, the two-year-old indie pic and TV production company co-formed by co-chairman Peter Guber.
In his new position, Albert will oversee creative development and production and be responsible for placing the company’s projects in the domestic and international market.
He will be based in Los Angeles and report to Guber, Al Giddings and Barry Clark.
Albert most recently served as managing director of indie British documentary film producer Transatlantic Films.
Mandalay Media Arts is completing post-production on the HDTV special “Sahara: Seasons in the Sand” for Devillier Donegan Enterprises and PBS.
Guber also serves as chairman of Mandalay Pictures, Mandalay Series Television, Mandalay Television Pictures and Mandalay Sports Entertainment.
