Jim Henson Television has inked a two-year, first-look kidvid development pact with the writing-producing team of Dan Angel and Billy Brown.

The deal is valued in the low six-figure range for the pair, whose credits include the Fox Kids Network’s “Goosebumps,” “Animorphs” and 1995’s “The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie.” Angel and Brown also served stints as story editors on Fox’s “The X-Files.”

The deal is one of the first creative pacts inked by newly appointed Henson TV prexy Margaret Loesch, who joined Henson in February after heading up the Fox Kids Network for the past eight years. Loesch, who worked with Angel and Brown on “Goosebumps” and other Fox Kids shows, said at the time of her appointment that she would look to beef up Henson’s roster of writing and producing talent.

Outside of the kidvid arena, Angel and Brown also have a pic project, “The Night Room,” in development with Mel Gibson’s Icon Entertainment. Duo is repped by William Morris Agency’s Ann Blanchard, John Capano and David Lubliner.
