“Access Hollywood” supervising producer Laurie Ender is stepping down at the end of this month after three years with the NBC/Twentieth TV syndie newsmag.
Ender was one of the first staffers recruited by “Access Hollywood” exec producer Jim Van Messel when the strip, now in its second year, was first being developed. Before “Access,” Ender spent 10 years with Paramount’s “Entertainment Tonight” in various production posts.
Ender is exiting “Access Hollywood” to “become a full-time, stay-at-home mom.” She and her husband, CBS media relations veepee Chris Ender, are expecting their third child.
In confirming Ender’s departure, Van Messel said: “She is synonymous with the highest level of professionalism in the Hollywood community.”
