Eddie Cibrian, of Spelling sudser “Sunset Beach,” has inked to star opposite Chuck Norris in the CBS telefilm “The Hit Man: Bound By Honor.” Shooting is under way in Dallas.
In the drama, directed by Michael Preece (“Dallas: War of the Ewings”), Cibrian portrays a young man who seeks to avenge the murder of his family by the Mafia. Cibrian is guided on his journey into manhood by his uncle, played by Norris.
A Washo Bros. Entertainment film, pic is exec produced by the company’s owners, Chuck and Aaron Norris. Garry A. Brown produces and Lisa Clarkson is supervising producer.
The deal also involves an additional agreement with Washo, which will use Cibrian for two additional television films, either in the same role or other projects.
Cibrian began his career on the CBS soap “The Young and the Restless.” He later became David Hasselhoff’s sidekick on “Baywatch Nights.”
Cibrian’s deal was brokered by Holly Baril and Gayle Nachlis of the William Morris Agency and manager Steve Sauer of Media Four. Washo Bros. was represented by Steven Katleman of Weissman, Wolff, Bergman, Coleman and Silverman.
