Westwood abuzz with biz

DreamWorks’ “Antz,” which one guest described as “an interesting mix of ‘Deconstructing Harry’ and ‘Starship Troopers,’ ” had its industry screening in Westwood on Thursday with such biz heavyweights as Jim Brooks, Mark Johnson, Arnold Rifkin and studio execs Jeffrey Katzenberg, Walter Parks, Laurie MacDonald and Terry Press on hand. Also spotted was Carl Rosendahl, head of PDI, which did the animation for pic.

On Sept. 19, the animated bug story debuted as the gala closing night screening at the Toronto Film Festival. Dan Aykroyd, Danny Glover, Gene Hackman, Jane Curtin and Jennifer Lopez were present along with directors Eric Darnell and Tim Johnson and producers Brad Lewis, Patty Wooton and Aron Warner.
