MAMARONECK, N.Y. — In what veteran Broadway producer Arthur Cantor has announced as a pre-New York engagement, Henry G. Miller’s new drama “Lawyers” will play a May 26 to June 13 engagement at Mamaroneck’s Emelin Theater with a cast featuring Kevin Conway and Keir Dullea.

Following Mamaroneck, the production will move to Connecticut to open the summer season of the Westport Country Playhouse, June 15-27, prior to a projected Off Broadway run.

“Lawyers” revolves around a power struggle between old-line and new-breed lawyers battling for control of their firm. Playwright Miller, who is also playing a leading role in his play, is a lawyer and a former president of the New York Bar Assn. He has studied acting with Stella Adler and performed in several Off Broadway plays. John Berry is directing “Lawyers” and the cast will be completed by Ford Austin, Lauree Dash and Tom Ligon.
