HOLLYWOOD — Oscar-winners James Cameron and Jack Nicholson will act as presenters at Friday’s Crystal Awards, the 22nd such event organized by Women in Film.
Two other Oscar laureates, Geena Davis and Meryl Streep, will also take part in the Century Plaza Hotel luncheon, the former as emcee, the latter as a Crystal Award winner.
Also in the winners’ lineup is producer Gale Anne Hurd (“Armageddon”), who will receive her award from ex-husband Cameron, and Columbia TriStar vice chairwoman Lucy Fisher, to whom Nicholson is assigned as presenter.
Actress and writer Carrie Fisher will take part as a presenter, as will Giovanna Ferragamo, who will give a scholarship to the Otis School of Design. The Norma Zarky Humanitarian Award will be given to Hollywood Reporter publisher emerita Tichi Wilkerson Kassel, who founded Women in Film in 1977 to pay tribute to outstanding women who have helped enhance the role of women in the entertainment industry.
