Marie Soule has joined Rhythm & Hues Studios as director of development, where she’ll be responsible for developing feature-length computer-animated films at the Venice-based f/x and animation house.
“My goal is to have a slate of 10 films in development by this time next year,” Soule said.
Soule has held stints as director of development for director-producer Bud Yorkin, and producers Bruce Gilbert, David Bombyk and Chris Knight.
Soule replaces former Rhythm & Hues development exec Rose Duignan.
Rhythm & Hues has provided effects for numerous films, including DreamWorks’ “Mouse Hunt,” as well as other projects such as motion-based theme park ride films. The studio is working on several features, including “Babe: Pig in the City” and the upcoming Kurt Russell-starrer “Soldier.”
