NEW YORK — Harold Ramis has agreed to direct “Galaxy Quest” as his next film.
DreamWorks and producer Mark Johnson are eyeing the outer-space comedy scripted by Robert Gordon (“Addicted to Love”) for a holiday 1999 release.
Ramis, whose directing efforts include “Groundhog Day,” is now in post-production on “Analyze This,” the Warner Bros. comedy slated for release in February 1999. “This,” about the unlikely kinship between a crime boss who suffers from anxiety attacks and a gutless psychologist, stars Robert De Niro, Billy Crystal and Lisa Kudrow.
Ramis is repped by CAA.
