Todd-AO and eight major post-production enterprises from the U.S., Latin America, Australia and South Africa have formed the Intl. Network of Post Production (INPP), the first worldwide trade organization promoting the highest standard of performance for the film, sound, video and media communications industries throughout the world.
“As more and more nations emerge economically and demand American entertainment and programming, the need to dub and reformat locally becomes paramount,” said Todd-AO prexy and CEO Salah Hassanein in a statement. “This global network of highest quality post-production resources ensures that the media communications industry companies will be able to get the same high quality universally.”
The trade organization plans to establish a communications network to link its members and enable the transmission of graphics and sound between facilities in different countries and the pooling of equipment capacities.
