Fresh off the Alan Rudolph-helmed “Breakfast of Champions,” actor Will Patton is set to join Sean Connery, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Ving Rhames in 20th Century Fox’s “Entrapment.”
Jon Amiel helms the pic, which is being produced by Connery, Rhonda Tollefson and Michael Hertzberg.
In the pic, Connery plays a great art thief who is being pursued by an undercover insurance investigator (Zeta-Jones). Patton will play Cruz, a former FBI agent and Zeta-Jones’ boyfriend.
“Entrapment” recently began lensing in London.
Patton, who most recently co-starred in “Armageddon,” has appeared in such pics as “Inventing the Abbotts,” “The Spitfire Grill,” “No Way Out” and “The Client.” On “Entrapment,” he rejoins Amiel who previously directed the thesp in “Copycat.”
Patton’s deal was brokered by the William Morris Agency’s Lisa Wong and Randi Michel and his managers at Edwards-Curtain Management.
