Masterson moves to ‘Town’

Actor joins star-studded cast of New Line romance

Twentysomething thesp Danny Masterson has joined the cast of New Line Cinema’s romance “Town and Country,” which begins shooting toward the end of this month.

Pic, which is directed by Peter Chelsom, stars Warren Beatty, Diane Keaton, Gerard Depardieu, Goldie Hawn and Andie MacDowell.

Pic is about a man (Beatty) who, disillusioned with his marriage, endures a number of love affairs before realizing that he truly loves his wife (Keaton). Masterson plays the couple’s son.

Masterson also will co-star in Fox Network’s sitcom “Feelin’ All Right.” The show is produced by Carsey-Werner, Bonnie Turner and Terry Turner.

Masterson has wrapped a small part in Robert Rodriguez’s upcoming sci-fi thriller “The Faculty,” which was written by Kevin Williamson. Pic is set for release by Dimension Films on Dec. 25.

Masterson’s other feature credits are “Star Kid,” “Face/Off,” “Beethoven’s 2nd” and “Bye Bye Love.” His TV appearances include “NYPD Blue,” “Party of Five” and “Roseanne.”

He is managed by Carol Masterson and repped by Savage Agency’s Judy Savage.
