Lisa Kudrow, who’s currently appearing onscreen in Donald Roos’ edgy indie comedy “The Opposite of Sex,” has signed on to play the third lead in Warner Bros. mob-psychotherapy laffer, “Analyze This,” with Billy Crystal and Robert De Niro.
Kudrow, who’s also a star of the NBC sitcom “Friends,” will play Crystal’s love interest in the pic about a gangster, played by De Niro, who starts seeing a psychiatrist, portrayed by Crystal.
“Analyze” is lensing in New York, with Harold Ramis directing from a screenplay by Peter Tolan, Phoef Sutton and Ken Lonergan. Paula Weinstein and Jane Rosenthal have producing titles, with Crystal, who developed the film, receiving an exec producer credit.
Kudrow’s other feature credits include Jill Sprecher’s “Clockwatchers” and hit comedy “Romy & Michelle’s High School Reunion.”
Kudrow’s “Analyze” deal was handled by her agents at Endeavor and her manager Scott Howard.
