Kodak to unveil grant winner

Aperture grant to maker of short film

Film stock manufacturer Kodak will announce the winner of its 1998 Aperture Grant on Wednesday.

The prize goes to the maker of a short film deemed best by a jury and is given by Aperture Inc., a nonprofit corporation set up to encourage diversity and excellence in short films.

The announcement will take place at the Kodak Hollywood Atrium, 6700 Santa Monica Boulevard, at 11:30 a.m. The event will include a screening of last year’s winner, Josh Marston’s 26-minute film “Bus to Queens.”
