Holly Fields, who appeared in Showtime’s “Runaway Daughters” and Sony’s “Mr. Payback,” has been cast as the female lead in Artisan Entertainment’s “Evil Never Dies,” the sequel to “Wishmaster.” The film is currently shooting in L.A.
Fields will play an art thief who becomes tormented by nightmares and learns that she has unwittingly unleashed an evil force on society. Writer-director Jack Sholder (“Nightmare on Elm Street, Part II”) is attached to the project and Andrew Dixoff returns as the Wishmaster. Budgeted at $2.5 million, pic is produced by Tony Amatullo and Dana Reid.
In addition to her film roles, Fields has recently appeared in CBS’ “Touched by an Angel” and ABC’s “Sabrina, The Teenage Witch.”
Her deal was brokered by Michael Greenwald and Julia Buchwald of Don Buchwald and Associates and Pritcher/Foreman Management.
