Donohoe packing for ‘Connecticut’ telepic

Co-starring with Whoopi

Amanda Donohoe, who played C.J. Lamb for two seasons on NBC’s “L.A. Law,” has been cast in the Disney/ABC telepic “A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court.” Pic is currently shooting in Budapest.

In the film, which stars Whoopi Goldberg, Donohoe will portray Queen Guinevere. Roger Young (“Murder in Mississippi,” “Kiss the Sky”) directs with Nick Gillott producing and Norman Rosemont exec producing.

Donohoe’s film credits include “Liar Liar,” “Castaway,” “Dark Obsession” and “The Madness of King George.” She recently starred opposite Kelsey Grammer in Live Entertainment’s upcoming “The Adventures of Howard Spitz.”

Donohoe’s deal was brokered by David Yocum and Gail Nachlis of the William Morris Agency, her manager, Michael P. Levine of Levine Management, and Larry Rose and Barbara Silberbusch of Gang, Tyre, Ramer and Brown.
