LA.com, a Web site dedicated to the city and lifestyles of Los Angeles, has partnered with Variety.com as its official provider of entertainment news and movie reviews.
Set for a Nov. 5 launch, the site offers information about the city, including traffic information, dining reviews and entertainment events. Responsible for the site’s creation are Marty Mizrahi and David Ezra, who also created Vegas.com.
In addition to its partnership with Variety.com, LA.com has similar setups with Comedy.com, LA Weekly (providing local music coverage), the Knot (a wedding guide), Like Minds (customized movie choices), Fan Ticker and Fan Center (sports coverage).
The site also include a dating site, gossip by E! Entertainment reporter Anita Talbert, home improvement tips, and new and used car sales.
