HOLLYWOOD — Disney’s Buena Vista Internet Group and Mouse-owned ABC.com have linked with online music retailer N2K Music Boulevard to provide electronic stores for the popular Disney.com and ABC.com Internet sites.
Under the agreement, N2K’s Music Boulevard will become the exclusive online music retailer of Disney music on Disney.com’s Shop channel and within other areas of the Mouse’s Web properties.
Links from the shopping pages, as well as from the Walt Disney Records site, will lead browsers to a specially created Disney Music at Music Boulevard boutique. The online shop will offer a full library of Disney music titles, such as 1994’s bestselling album “The Lion King” and hit soundtracks from “Beauty and the Beast,” “Aladdin” and “The Little Mermaid.” Disney said it receives some 500,000 daily hits on its Web site.
