German pay TV web Premiere will resume marketing a digital version of the network starting June 15, managing director Ferdinand Kayser announced Thursday. Subscribers of Premiere Digital will receive three multiplex channels, as well as pay-per-view options. Premiere, which offers viewers a mix of premium movies and sporting events, reaches 1.65 million analog households and 120,000 digital customers. Premiere Digital was withdrawn from German shops last fall pending the outcome of the European Commission’s probe of the pay TV merger of Premiere shareholders CLT-Ufa and Leo Kirch.
