Warner Bros. has elevated Sandra Smokler and Pamela Kirsh to vice presidents, associated general counsel, in the theatrical legal department.

Smokler and Kirch are responsible for managing legal work in connection with acquisition, development and production of feature films.

They also also supervise WB’s legal affairs with several of the studio’s major term producers. Smokler handles Silver Pictures, Donner/Shuler-Donner and Jerry Weintraub Prods., while Kirsh looks after New Regency and Bel Air Entertainment.

They both report to David Sagal, senior vice prexy and general counsel, WB business and legal affairs.

Smokler joined WB in 1994 as associate general counsel. Prior to her affiliation with the studio, she was veepee of legal affairs for 20th Century Fox.

Kirsh began working at Warner Bros. in October 1982 as a paralegal, graduating from law school and passing the bar in 1990.
