Touchstone Pictures confirmed Monday that Mark Vahradian has been upped to VP of production.
Vahradian will aid Touchstone prexy Donald De Line in overseeing all aspects of development and production for the studio. He reports to De Line.
Vahradian is currently working on “Jane Austen’s Mafia,” helmed by Jim Abrahams and due for release this August, and “Ten Things I Hate About You,” a contemporary comedy based on Shakespeare’s “Taming of the Shrew.”
Vahradian has been with Touchstone since 1995 when he joined as a creative exec. Before joining the Disney studio, he had a two-year stint as a development assistant at Universal Pictures.
“Mark has been an important part of our creative team over the past three years and has earned a reputation for being an outstanding production executive,” said De Line.
