Pacific/Mirage taps two vet execs

Salvadori, Brown add to digital expansion

Pacific Title/Mirage has named digital f/x industry vets Antoinette Salvadori and Mark Brown to its ranks. It continues an expansion begun after the venerable Hollywood optical and post-production house was acquired and put under new management last fall.

Salvadori, former CGI production manager with the now-defunct Warner Digital, will move into the post of vice president and director of digital production. Brown, former visual effects producer for Pacific Ocean Post, signs on as executive producer of PTM’s digital division.

“Both Antoinette and Mark will add tremendously to our digital division’s expansion and growth in the 2D, 3D and in-house production arenas,” said PTM co-chiefs Ivan Gulas and Michael Rosenblatt in a statement.

In her new post, Salvadori’s duties will include supervision of PTM Digital’s daily production activities, facility project budget oversight, coordination of soft-ware and hardware programming needs, staffing and training. She has also worked as a freelance visual effects coordinator.

Brown’s responsibilities will include oversight of the technical and creative staff from bidding to delivery stages.

Other key PTM Digital execs who recently joined the company include Ariel Velasco Shaw, who last month signed on as vice president, visual effects supervisor, and Scott McGrail, exec veepee and director of business development.

PTM Digital is scheduled to move into new headquarters later this month, and is building a new production facility that will house the company’s artists and executives, a new motion capture stage and other technology.
