Exec to o'see finishing, clearing, distributing of ads

HOLLYWOOD — Drew Giordano has been promoted to VP of Warner Bros. domestic theatrical advertising and publicity services, the studio announced Thursday.

Giordano will continue to report to Dawn Taubin, senior VP of advertising and publicity. His primary responsibilities will include overseeing all finishing, clearing and distributing of ads, including trailers, TV, radio and print ads.

“Drew has done an outstanding job of interacting with our internal and outside ad agencies, the marketing and legal departments at Warner Bros., and the thousands of outlets that receive our advertising materials each week,” said Sanford E. Reisen-bach, exec VP of marketing and planning.

A native of New York, Giordano joined Warner Bros. in January 1994 as manager of advertising and publicity services. In December 1996, he was promoted to director of the department. Prior to joining Warner Bros., Giordano served as an account executive for Grey Entertainment & Media in New York City, where his clients included Warner Bros. and a number of Broadway and Off Broadway productions.
