Gerson Saines hangs out N.Y. manager shingle

Former WMA agent still reps Williams, Culkins, others

Former William Morris Agency VP Emily Gerson Saines has set up her own Gotham-based management firm, Gerson Saines Management, with some of her former agency clients set to join her.

The decision by Gerson Saines comes at an opportune time for the William Morris Agency, which like some other percenteries is paring its ranks.

In her new company, Gerson Saines will continue to rep such clients as Vanessa Williams, Macaulay Culkin, Kieran Culkin, Eric Bogosian, Gil Bellows and Mekhi Phifer in talent deals.

She will also look for projects for her clients to produce in both TV and film.

“Forming my own management firm has been a long-term goal of mine, and I’m excited about continuing to work on behalf of my clients in this new role as manager,” Gerson Saines said in a statement.

Nick Campbell, a five-year veteran of the William Morris Agency, will join Gerson Saines in the new venture.

Gerson Saines was with WMA for the last seven years. She began her career as an assistant at CAA and ICM. Her first agent job came with APA, followed by a post at Innovative Agency opening their New York office in 1990.
