CBS Broadcast Intl. has named Stephanie Pacheco managing director of international sales, Latin America and the Caribbean.

Previously, Pacheco was director, international sales, with the company. She has been with CBS since 1984.

Van Spurgeon, a former production exec with Roland Joffe’s Nomad Prods., has teamed with helmer Jeremiah Chechik to form a TV arm of Chechik’s Tin Roof Prods.

Spurgeon, who has also served stints with Lightstorm Entertainment and Cinergi Films, will spearhead TV development for the company.

Sony Signatures has made several promotions and appointments. Sharon Sartorius has been upped to exec director of business affairs and counsel; Marci Gordon has been tapped as exec director of licensing; Adam Langsbard has been appointed director of marketing; Christiane Friess has been hired as creative director; Liz Tenney has been upped to manager of international licensing and Evan Greene has been appointed manager of product development and promotions.

Sartorius will be responsible for all business and legal affairs with the company’s core licensing and marketing operations. Gordon will oversee sales for the company’s television and film properties in various categories, and Langsbard will handle marketing for the company’s theatrical, TV, animated TV and homevideo properties to licensing and sales agents.

Friess will oversee all creative activity, Tenney will handle product development for primary film, TV and homevideo properties, while Greene will oversee all creative development for the company’s products and promotions.

MTV Networks has tapped Jason Malamud VP, affiliate advertising sales. In his new position, Malamud will lead a team that supports MTV Networks affiliates’ local ad sales efforts nationally.

Malamud joined MTV in 1993. Prior to that, he was sales manager for Katz Radio Group Syndication, national sales manager for CD Media, and director of radio operations for DIR Broadcasting Corp.

Fox Family Channel has named Fabian Milburn VP, business and legal affairs. In his new position, Milburn will oversee the company’s business and legal affairs for all reality-based series and specials in the primetime block.

Previously, Milburn was senior counsel, law and business affairs, for Nickelodeon. He’s also served as assistant general counsel at Black Entertainment Television.

CBS has upped Anne O’Grady to senior VP of marketing and events. She was previously VP of promotion marketing at the web.

In her new position, O’Grady will continue to develop CBS’ entertainment marketing programs and direct the web’s special events unit. She reports to exec VP of marketing and communications George Schweitzer.

Blue Sky/VIFX has upped Michael Feder to associate producer at its East Coast office. In his new post, Feder will be involved in the company’s expanding commercial and film divisions. He reports to VP and exec producer Lee Berger.

Michael Middeleer has joined FX Networks at VP, on-air promotions. He will report to Gavin Harvey, senior VP, marketing and promotions.

Previously, Middeleer spent 12 years as HBO’s director of West Coast creative services.

Todd-AO has upped Jeff Emerson to G.M. of Tele-Cine Cell Group. Previously, Emerson was head of production with the company.

Vet film publicist Jeremy Walker has ankled Dennis Davidson Associates to rejoin Clein + White as senior VP.

Walker left Clein + White last February after more than a decade.

Sid Bedingfield has been upped from veep to exec VP of CNN/U.S. His responsibilities remain supervising day-to-day operations and breaking news coverage for CNN, and managing programming and production matters. He joined the company in 1995 as exec producer CNN Intl.

Daniel Talbot has been named director of film programming for BAM Rose Cinemas, the four-screen multiplex slated to bow in December at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Talbot is prexy of specialized pic distrib New Yorker Films, and is owner of Lincoln Plaza Cinemas. He will continue at both those jobs in addition to his new BAM responsibilities.

Sony Corp. of America has named Emily H. Susskind senior VP of interactive services. She will report of SCA prexy Howard Stringer.

In her new position, Susskind will work from the company’s Gotham headquarters and will provide strategic leadership in the areas of convergence and new technologies.

Previously, Susskind served as senior VP of technology for Dow Jones Markets, and spent 10 years at Salomon Brothers.
