O’Boyle may fill ‘Extra’ job

If Warner Bros. Domestic TV Distribution’s frosh talker “In Person With Maureen O’Boyle” does not return for a second season, which seems likely, Warner Bros. is considering bringing O’Boyle back to work for its newsmag “Extra,” sources say.

Before her talkshow debuted, O’Boyle was a senior correspondent and weekend anchor for “Extra.” It’s unclear whether she would return in that capacity or replace one of the current anchors. Warner Bros. would not comment except to say that its main objective is to keep the talkshow alive.
