‘Daria’ hitting MTV in March

MTV has announced that it will premiere “Daria,” its new animated series from the “Beavis and Butt-head” creative team, at 10:30 p.m. March 3 and will run it Monday nights at 10:30 thereafter.

Series spins off the “Beavis and Butt-head” character of Daria Morgendorffer, a 16-year-old girl who is not only “too smart and too funny to blend in with the ‘in’ crowd at high school” but is Beavis and Butt-head’s only female friend.

“Daria” was developed by Glen Eichler and Susie Lewis Lynn
