USC School to accent the TV

The USC School of Cinema-Television has created a Television Executive Advisory Council to help the school integrate television into its curriculum.

Founding members of the council include United Talent Agency president Mary Bauer; ICM executive veepee Alan Berger; Carsey-Werner partner Marcy Carsey; Columbia TriStar TV Group president Jon Feltheimer; CAA TV head Lee Gabler; producer and former ABC Entertainment chairman Ted Harbert; William Morris Agency ex-ecutive veepee Sam Haskell; Warner Bros. TV prexy Tony Jonas; Paramount TV Group chairman Kerry McClug-gage; CBS Entertainment president Leslie Moonves; USA Networks president Rod Perth and producer and former network exec Brandon Tartikoff.

“Because the school has traditionally been known for its outstanding alumni in the film industry, one of the aims of the council is to provide support that will allow students to excel in whichever arm of the industry they decide to pursue,” said Dean Elizabeth Daley.
