Jim Henson Pictures exec Eoghan Mahony has been upped to director of development, and Jenny Klion has been named creative exec, the company announced Monday.
Mahony’s new responsibilities will include assisting in the development of Henson features as well as seeking out new material for the company.
Mahony joined the company in 1995 as a creative exec. Before that, he was a story analyst for Columbia Pictures and 20th Century Fox.
Klion will create and develop projects tailored for major theatrical and film artists. She most recently helped ink a deal with illusionist Ricky Jay to do a project for Henson.
Klion also came to Henson in 1995 as a story analyst. Before that, she was a theatrical performer for 15 years with such companies as the Big Apple Circus, Pickle Family Circus and the Mark Morris Dance Group.
