Hollywood Online has named Eric Belcher senior VP of advertising sales and marketing, a newly created post.
He will oversee development of advertising and sales models, as well as the design and implementation of the company’s overall marketing strategy.
One of his first duties will be the launch of advertising and marketing of Hollywood Online’s ShowTimes service, which will provide in-depth movie listings on the World Wide Web. It also will allow participating theater chains to link their Web offerings to the ShowTimes service. ShowTimes is a joint venture of the National Assn. of Theater Owners and Hollywood Online.
Belcher joins Hollywood Online from American Cybercast, where he served as senior VP of ad sales.
He reports to Hollywood Online chairman Michael Rollens.
