Anne Marie Gillen has been named chief operating officer of Revelations Entertainment, the production company recently formed by Morgan Freeman and producer Lori McCreary.
Before coming to Revelations, Gillen set up “Nightingale One” at Mandalay and “Second Skin” at Constantine. She most recently was executive producer of “Colors Straight Up,” which won the highest honor at San Francisco’s Intl. Film Festival and will open the upcoming Los Angeles Film Festival. The project is based on an inner-city youth organization she co-founded, Colors United.
Revelations, which is based in Santa Monica, is developing “Rendezvous With Rama,” based on Arthur C. Clarke’s novel, which David Fincher is attached to direct. The pic is set up at Propaganda Films, where Fincher has a first-look deal.
